I had a question for ya’ll. I like tinkering with Flash and Python as a hobby. But Python pretty much is all HTML, no Flash. A little more than a year ago I looked for a Perl/PHP/Python/Ruby framework for Flash, and found nothing. Being a hobbyist, my “”"framework”"” , “sonomasunshine”, is suboptimal, .
I was wondering if learning Flex and Ruby/Rails is a major or minor undertaking for someone who understands Flash, Python, PHP and Perl??? I love Python, but I would jump ship quick for a language that had better Flash support.

You might want to add your blog to MXNA (http://weblogs.macromedia.com/mxna/) and feed-squirrel.com in order to get a better exposure.

Sam,
If you are already know Flash, Python, PHP, and Perl, then learning to use Flex and Ruby on Rails should be no problem.
If you love Python, and you are looking for a framework that is similar to RoR, then I recommend that you check out Django.

Django is very good, but I like Flash, and Python has very little Flash related code.
I am gonna look at Flex and Rails, I see already Ruby is easy if you know Perl and Python.
