RubyIZUMI – Open Source RTMP Server(MP4/H.264) for streaming Flash video/audio
Here is yet another exciting Flash-related Ruby project. Takuma Mori at Vixy.tv recently released RubyIZUMI, an open source streaming Flash server that can stream H.264 encoded videos over RTMP that is written in pure Ruby.

I apologize for being off topic but are there any good guides on the net for flex newbies? I’m very well versed in RoR just not flex. Thanks.

Hi, right now I’m reimplementing RubyIzumi capabilities in erlyvideo project. It was located on http://code.google.com/p/erlyvideo/,
but authors stopped any development. Thus I’ve decided to move on it’s development.
I want to mention, that currently it already can work with Rails as a notification server via erlix (ruby – erlang bridge)
